What is an Energy Performance Certificate?

An Energy Performance Certificate or Energy Certificate is

a document that contains all the necessary features that determine

the energy consumption of a property while at the same time classifying it in one

of the energy categories A + to H.

The energy certificate accompanies proposals for interventions for the reducing

energy consumption and improving the energy efficiency of the

property.

From now on it should accompany each property and constitute its energy

Why is it necessary?

• Energy certificate is required for all properties
  (homes, offices, shops) purchased or rented.
